Rebecca graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) degree from the University of London, United Kingdom, in 2016. She chambered with MKP and was called to the Malaysian Bar on 21 August 2020. After chambering, she commenced legal practice with the firm of David Lai & Tan, where she predominantly handled capital markets work, before returning to MKP in July 2021 as an Associate in the Corporate and M&A Department of the firm.

Since returning to MKP, Rebecca has handled a variety of mergers & acquisition and capital markets exercises. She has assisted, amongst others, in advising on the listing of Foodie Media Berhad on the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia, the selective capital reduction and repayment exercise of NPC Resources Berhad, the disposal of Jaya Grocer Holdings to Grab Holdings, the listing of Vestland Berhad on the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia and the listing of Senheng New Retail Berhad on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia.
