Peck Yun graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) degree from the University of Leeds, United Kingdom, in 2018. She chambered with MKP and was called to the Malaysian Bar on 10 September 2020.

Following chambering, Peck Yun worked with Zain & Co. as an Associate, predominantly handling litigation matters. She returned to MKP as an Associate in August 2022 to reposition her practice towards handling corporate and M&A and capital markets matters. During her time with MKP, she has taken conduct of a broad range of mergers & acquisition and capital markets exercises.

The matters that she has handled include the listing of Johor Plantations Group Berhad on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia, the listing of OB Holdings Berhad on the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia, and a renounceable rights issue of new ordinary shares and warrants by Hengyuan Refining Company Berhad. She has also assisted with the acquisition of the entire equity interest of a private college operator located in Johor, the acquisition of the entire share capital of a tolled roads operator, the disposal of the entire share capital of a supplier of egg processing parts and the acquisition of a media specialist company by a global Out-of-Home (OOH) technology and managed services company.
