Jia Hui holds a Bachelor of Law degree from the University of Manchester, United Kingdom. She was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2006 and was called to the Roll of Solicitors in England and Wales in 2009.

Jia Hui specialises in asset financing and leasing work, with emphasis in the aviation and shipping industries. Jia Hui and her team regularly represents aircraft owners, commercial airlines, financial institutions, lessors and credit support providers in lease and finance transactions as well as related regulatory matters. Jia Hui’s transaction experience includes cross border secured debt financing transactions, export credit agency supported financings, finance and operating leases, sale and leaseback transactions, equity investments, new and used aircraft acquisitions, and corporate jet transactions. She also has extensive experience in banking and finance related matters, including syndicated loan transactions, securitisations, loan and financing restructuring work and the issuance of debt capital market instruments (bonds, sukuk) in both conventional and Islamic structures.
