Chew Yan joined the firm as a chambering pupil in 2006 and was called to the Malaysian Bar in May 2007. She has been attached to the Corporate, Property & Banking Department of the firm since the commencement of her legal practice, having been promoted through the ranks of Associate and Senior Associate before being admitted as a Partner of the firm on 1st January 2016.​

She advises on a broad range of work matters on behalf of the firm, including mergers & acquisitions work, corporate finance, commercial drafting and property and banking matters. She has extensive experience in capital markets matters, particular in equity offerings.​​

Chew Yan has been recognised as a “Next Generation Partner” by Legal500 and a “Highly Regarded” practitioner by IFLR1000 for her expertise in the area of capital markets law.​
