Jocelyn Lim Yean Tse

Litigation & Dispute Resolution
Jocelyn holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) (2006) and a Master of Laws (2008) from Northumbria
University, UK. She was called to the Malaysian Bar in 2009 and started practice as an Associate
in MKP’s Corporate and M&A Department. In 2010, she joined another law firm to broaden her
contentious practice, where she was admitted as a Partner in 2017 and remained until late
2024, before undertaking a brief engagement at a different firm.
Jocelyn’s dispute resolution practice includes construction and engineering related matters, as well as real estate disputes. She has acted for a wide array of clients, including project owners, main contractors, consultants, sub-contractors and suppliers, in court, arbitration and adjudication proceedings. She also advises on a wide range of projects, including rail, airports, power plants, hospitals and other public infrastructure projects, data centres and commercial and residential building projects.

Jocelyn is also experienced in reviewing and drafting of contracts and is
well-versed with all major standard forms of construction and
consultancy contracts. She advises clients on a wide range of bespoke contracts.
In addition, Jocelyn sits as an arbitrator and is on the panel of arbitrators
of, among others, the Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC) and
the Reserve Panel of Arbitrators of the Singapore International
Arbitration Centre (SIAC). She also sits as an adjudicator, and she is an
accredited mediator, including with the Malaysian International Mediation
Centre. She has been recognised by Asian Legal Business as one of
Malaysia’s Rising Stars in 2022.
