Surialinda Ahmad

PARTNER

Surialinda joined MKP as a Partner in 2012, bringing with her over a decade of legal experience acquired from her work with leading property and banking firms in Kuala Lumpur. Her practice primarily focuses on banking and finance, as well as real estate transactions. She has extensive experience in general conveyancing and advisory work related to real estate and banking matters, including property acquisitions and divestments, corporate financing, and consumer lending.

Surialinda regularly advises on licensing and regulatory approvals, stamp duty implications, and structuring property transactions. She has acted for major developers in large-scale property development projects and has advised on acquisition and divestment exercises—including sale and leaseback structures—for corporate clients and real estate investment trusts (REITs). Her work in the debt capital markets includes advising on sukuk issuances and medium-term note (MTN) programmes, covering both Islamic and conventional financing structures.

Surialinda enjoys playing badminton as well as cycling and sightseeing. She has tried white-water rafting and finds that she enjoys the adrenaline rush.
