Chi Cheng graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) degree from University of Malaya, Malaysia, in 2018. She chambered with MKP and was called to the Malaysian Bar in August 2019.

Chi Cheng has been a member of the Litigation & Dispute Resolution Department of the firm since beginning legal practice. In the course of her practice, she has taken conduct of wide range of contractual, corporate and commercial litigation work, including shareholders’ disputes, minority shareholder oppression, suits relating to breach of directors’ duties, preserving bank’s security, debt recovery matters, illegal money lending, strata management disputes, leasing disputes, land fraud and capital reduction exercises in respect of corporate reorganisation exercises. Her experience extends to all levels of the Malaysian Court hierarchy.
