Pei Yin graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) degree from the University of Malaya, Malaysia in 2016. She chambered with MKP and was called to the Malaysian Bar in July 2017.
Pei Yin has been a member of the Corporate and M&A Department of the firm since the very beginning of her legal career. During her time with MKP, her work portfolio has comprised primarily of mergers & acquisitions transactions and general corporate and commercial advisory and property matters, as well as capital markets matters.
Some of the recent transactions she has worked on include the acquisition by Sunway Holdings Berhad of a majority equity stake in Multicare Pharmacy, the RM347.6 million share acquisition and subsequent mandatory general offer by Eller Axis Sdn Bhd in respect of Can-One Berhad, the RM1.0 billion disposal by Can-One Berhad of the entire share capital of F & B Nutrition Sdn Bhd to Wholesome Dairies Pte Ltd (a subsidiary of Southern Capital) and the listing of Vestland Berhad on the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia.
