Ashleigh graduated from the University of London with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons.) degree in 2013. She chambered with Liow & Co and was called to the Malaysian Bar in August 2015.
She began her career with Lee Hishammuddin Allen & Gledhill in September 2015 (handling banking litigation and insolvency matters). Thereafter, she served as an Associate with David Lai & Tan from 2016 to 2018, handling corporate finance and commercial matters. She subsequently worked with KPMG Malaysia (Governance & Sustainability Department), where she advised on corporate governance and corporate compliance matters from June 2018 until she joined MKP in July 2019.
Since joining MKP, Ashleigh’s work portfolio has comprised primarily of capital markets matters (in particular, initial public offerings and share issues) and mergers & acquisitions transactions as well as general corporate and commercial advisory matters, including corporate and securities regulation and corporate governance advisory matters.
